As I wrote yesterday time flies when you have fun.

I bought some cute paper figures to the kids when I visit my lovely friend Eva in Stockholm during fall break. And it is already six weeks ago. As I wrote, time flies when you have fun.

Time really flies when you have fun. 

Since I´m a teacher my year is divided into two terms. 

And this fall term has been long, dark and so much fun.

Autumn Tea

Good morning!

Today it is my second contribution in the craft relay. Yesterday it was Sött, nött och lagat.

 And I´m doing some lovely tea.

You need:

Two lemons

Two clementines

Four cinnamon sticks

Black tea

Start by washing the lemons and the clementines. Peel them and put the peel in the owen ( 75 *) for an hour or two.Then chop them into small pieces.

Cruch the cinnamon sticks in a mortar and mix it with the tea and citrus fruits in glass jar.

 Make a cute label.

Pysselstafetten- Craft relay

Good morning!

Today it´s my turn to contribute in the craft relay ( pysselstafetten). I got the baton from Återbruk av Åsali.

During fall I really like to crochet and since I had some left over yarn I want to show you an easy way to pimp you tea or coffe mug. 

Translation:

Chain-luftmaska

Single Crochet-fast maska

Start by measure your mug.

Then make the chain so it fit your mug. ( I used 8 chains)

Start by doing single crochet in the chain. Don´t forget to add a chain before you turn over. 

Keep going until your work fit the mug. Make it a bit smaller cause the yarn stretch.

Sew or crochet together the ends.

Well done.

Brunch

Yesterday we invited some friends over for brunch. It´s a  really nice way to hang out when you have many friends with many kids.

Our six year old got so crafty theese last few weeks and you can imagine how happy I am. We have so much fun. This weekend we did owls out of toilet paper rolls. And  we are now planning to write a fairytale about  them.

 So again, do what you love everyday!

Today we took the kids to the country side where an apple farm had a open farm day. The apple safari was good but the fresh corn and the apple pie was even better.

I love Sweden this time of the year.

 And I really love my husband and our beutiful children.

The hall

The hall is one of the most important room in a house. With two kids and a dog it´s hard to keep it clean and  organized. We have one big closet från Ikea and we got a locker that I´ve got from the school I used to work at. Our hall is dark but I like it a lot despite that. 

If you have things that you really like the energy in the room gets positive.

Baby blanket

One of my best friends is having a baby in a couple of weeks and I`m making a baby blanket to them. I  started by doing a chain (choose how wide it should be) and then I just kept going with double crochet. I used really soft cotton so it will be gentle to the babyskin.

God kväll!

Det är många bebisar på jäsning i vår omgivning så nu när höstmörkret lägger sig passar jag på att virka presenter. Dessa små ballerinatofflor ska dock till en söt liten Elsa som redan tittat ut. 

Och Emma, om du är inne här och smyger. Jag följde mönstret ( som jag hittat hos duktiga Kinoko)
